Don't trust them, I wish I had read the reviews before.
Instead I'm paying $50 in restocking fees! Pathetic business ethics!! A $60 mistake! Ordered in march and 3 months later still nothing. Today i have tried to do that but without success, except to be told it is too late for a refund.
I immediately contacted fish pond & stated that ive never ever had to pay a charge previously for this item & why should I as they advertise free shipping.
I've re-ordered from another company. I ordered a book and they took the money 25 days ago but I still have not received the book even though their order tracker says it was dispatched 4 days after the order (so now 3 weeks ago). I would never trust fishpond again. Department of Fair Trading here we come! I must therefore at the very least acknowledge that I have been reimbursed. 'no-reply' on their email.
This is my second review. I ordered a jigsaw puzzle and was very happy with my order it arrived when I was told and everything was great. Had to cancel the charges on my credit card.Ordered what was described as Heelys skate shoes. It had an "Estimated delivery date: 27th May - 3rd Jun". I have had an absolute nightmare with this company. It's been months and still haven't received the order. Book has not arrived and Fishpond have failed to respond to 3 request for a refund. Now their website is unmonitored most likely due to the huge number of complaints about this shoddy company. I’ll be more diligent next time.Avoid at all cost. Website order tracker doesn't work. In short, they are just using our money.
Fishpond.com describes themselves as an online store that is currently selling more than 12 million items, with a goal of building "the best place for people to buy online," with great prices and free shipping on every order. You can always use their search tool to find specific products you already have in mind. After cancelling the order, I was refunded £5 less than the price of purchase.
Instead it seems that once you have an active account with their website you will be able to contact Customer Service through your member's account. Note - no tracking number given. Product was shipped from a third party so I had to contact them. I have asked for my payment to be refunded.Ordered a book on 13th of April. Never use this website. There was a problem with delivery but it was easily rectified and a member of staff got back to me very quickly and sorted it out . Dreadful experience - don't use them. Notice - they do NOT accept Paypal as a payment method so they avoid the requirement to refund when your order invariably doesn't show up.
