Collins took time to educate AMAC members at the meeting about the difference between mandatory and discretionary federal spending and how programs like Social Security and Medicare are straining the U.S. budget, as a result of longer life expectancies and fewer workers to support program beneficiaries.Last, Rep. Collins also listened diligently as AMAC members articulated their dismay of and disapproval for the recent allegations that Planned Parenthood has been selling the fetal tissue of aborted babies.
